A carnival of cool creation. Twin guitars swirling around in a crazed hypnotic dance, rhythmically engaged in a solid Bass groove behind a relentless pounding Rock beat. Add a singer that purges souls with thunderous vocals, that’s Imaginary Things!

IMAGINARY THINGS are a four piece alternative rock band from Newcastle with a penchant for good vibes and great music. Georgie is the main songwriter and D-Luxe, Dave M and Johnny Thompson are the perfect foil for his alternate rock musings. Born from Georgies previous life as a soloist, Imaginary Things developed beyond a mere backup band into a solid four on the floor unit very quickly. It didn’t take long to start making a name on the live circuit. They soon challenged the top original bands around Newcastle and sent a strong message to promoters that they are the band to watch. Big Apachee artist management and Booking Agent started working with them immediately and the whole show was moving along very well until Covid threatened to put the brakes on everything. Not to be halted in their tracks, the boys hit the studio and recorded ‘TODAY’. The song was immediately picked up by Australian Indie Radio and Amrap national broadcasters here in Australia. The song writing is strong, Georgie has written with Nathan Cavaleri and Vincent Dale (The Rockmelons). Johnny T and Dave M have both worked with Georgie in previous bands and D-luxe has been with the band right from the start. Imaginary Things are not jumping to any conclusions, they’re happy to earn their way. The goal is to keep releasing music, put an album together and get out there on the road as soon as they are able.
